## Timeline (high level — claims C1–C2)
- Art. 50 transparency obligations have applied since 2 August 2026.
- For generative systems on the market before 2 Aug 2026, Art. 50(2) machine-readable marking grace ends 2 December 2026.
- Deployer duties (e.g. deepfakes / certain public-interest text) are generally not deferred by that grace.
